About MLC

Methodist Ladies' College was founded in 1907. It opened with just 54 students and now enrols approximately 1070 students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including approximately 100 boarders.

As a College of the Uniting Church in Australia, our aim is to provide, in a Christian setting, a high quality education for girls.At Methodist Ladies' College, the concept of quality education is not just about academic achievement - it is also about fostering a commitment to the ideals of service, justice and peace which are at the heart of the Christian faith.

We seek to nurture, encourage, challenge and educate girls and young women to be active and responsible contributors to society. We believe we have succeeded when a girl leaves Methodist Ladies' College as a confident young person, eager and competent to take full advantage of the increasing number of options available to her beyond school.

Preparing for Interview
It is necessary for all applicants who are successful in obtaining an interview for a position vacancy to present the following information during the first interview:

·         Original Copies of all Qualification Certificates relevant to position

·         Copy of Drivers Licence containing a recent photo

·         Education Sector Criminal Record Clearance, Teachers Registration Details and National Policy Criminal Record Clearance (if applicable
